With only the MotoGP championship Sepang was to be a show down for the 125 and 250cc World title. We were watching the 125cc race from the closest point of the track at turn 4 and also it is a great place to make passes as well. With weather reaching as high as 38o we choose to return to the pits for the 250cc race.

Whilst watching the 250 on screen and walking through the pits we found
some of our local heros to take some snaps with.

Gen and Chris Vermeulen
We also ran into other superstars
Colin signs off Gens Yamaha shirt.
After that we thought we would remount or transport for the day and find a good spot to watch the feature race.
Chas and Gen on the Campeltella Racing moped, they were very kind to let us use it for the weekend.
And after riding all around the track we thought the best spot to watch from was the general admission grand stand were you could see the whole back half of the track and on the other side from turn 5 to 7 and the main straight. Also as we were walking through the grand stand we ran into former Vic SuperBike Champ Jay Normoyle and a crowd of fellow Victorians.

This was a great all round trip for us.
If you are looking to enjoy an afordable MotoGP out of Australia, Sepang is a great track and Malaysia is only a
9 hour flight from Melbourne.
Again thanks to the Campetella Race Team for the passes and mopeds.
We hope to see more Aussies there next year.
