I have been riding and racing Motorbikes since I could ride a push bike. I grew up following my Dad and Uncle as they raced Classic and Post classic Road bikes around the southern part of Australia. From the day I turned 16 I always wanted to race road bikes but my dad could never afford to help me with a budget so we stuck to Dirt track and Motocross.
In 2005 I was Sponsored by K&J Thomas Motorcycles and came my first break, Honda arranged 2 05 CRF 1 250cc and 1 450cc. I managed to win the Victorian Supermotard Championships in my first year of racing.
A very good Friend of mine Cameron Donald arranged me to go overseas to race motard. While overseas I also got my first chance to race a 600cc Honda CBR at Sepang.
My dream has always been to race road bikes in Oz with my dad as part of my team.
When I got back from being in Asia for months Don Stafford from Stafford Motorcycles offered to help me obtain a new Yamaha R6 to race in the 2007 Australian Super-stock Championships.
I have never raced on any of the tracks used in the Australian championships and also never ridden or raced a Yamaha R6 2 weeks prior to Rd 1 at Eastern creek.
