With Cameron also having raced for Mick Hone motorcycles in Australia, Cameron and Chas decided to team up for the annual event and yesterday they both took to the track in order to get the Mick Hone Motorcycle/ Hern Engineering Suzuki GSXR set up for the race in 2 weeks. Some early tyre problems caused slow progress in the morning, but with that out of the way both riders were less than 0.5 of a second off the outright lap record at the Broadford circuit. The guys are looking to take it to the Super-Bike spec bikes as they will be on Chas's Formula Xtreme spec bike.
